Along Alon road ditches were digged and filled with barbed wire. Gochia gate was constructed to separate the Jordan Valley from the West Territory. It opens 3 times a week for a short time. Consequently, many Bedouin encampments located near the settlement of Roi are banished from reaching their pasture sites (rented from the people of Tammun) .
