The small village Mawahel is situated by the industrial area of Atarot. At mid 2005 the road connecting the village to Jerusalem has been blocked and the inhabitants are now required to go to Jerusalem through Qalandiya checkpoint - a tour of about 1.5 hr. by a cab. A Machsomwatch member in conversation with Mawaher inhabitants by the fence that isolats the village.
