Qalandiya, Thu 2.4.09, Morning

Arriving at 7:10am  - we noted that it was very crowded but moving along steadily. We estimated that approximately 400  people were passing through each hour, requiring an hour per person.  When we departed an hour later, we drove through the checkpoint which took an hour. Note that in both crossings, by car and by foot, the soldiers manning the checkpoints were consistently polite.
