Though the checkpoint was declared as "non existent" the army makes random, thorough inspections of vehicles including all the men, women and luggage. The groups of Palestinians designnated to be inspected are called "flocks" by the soldiers. When they finish checking one flock they turn to the next flock. The picture shows a young Palestinan who was punished for complaining about the soldiers' attitude.
