Morning

I had not been in Hebron for a long time

Masafer Yatta took and still takes all our energy.

There are incidents in Hebron all the time "thanks" to Itamar Ben Gvir. I have videos about what is happening there every Saturday.

The paratroopers are in Hebron. They man every checkpoint in every corner except for the border guard which surrounds the Cave of the Patriarchs.

I photographed from a distance the soldier in the post  that is usually deserted in front of the House of Contention.

At the late Abed’s store, another one of our acquaintances is the owner and he says that on Sabbath, when the settlers come to the Cave of the Patriarchs, they rush through the streets from the prayer routes to Shuhada street, taunting and preventing people from going home.

The checkpoint next to the grocery store in Kafisha was opened after many months of being closed due to the attack there about a year ago.

Even at the grocery store, there are reports of harassment of settlers on Sabbath, even in this area, which is far from the problematic area.

In the square of the Cave of the Patriarchs, are many Israelis and tourists from Turkey, understandably, split up to the two separate entrances.

I was happy to meet a group from Germany with Breaking the Silence. The guide is pleased to meet us and tells the group who we are. They express a lot of appreciation for MachsomWatch, both with words and looks.

I spoke on the phone with our friend Idris, he is very, very sick and it's sad. I hope to visit him soon.
