Morning

At the request of Goni and Sylvia the shift is dedicated to the return of documents and belongings to a person who was in prison.

We went to the Be'er Sheva prison with a power of attorney for  a 54-and-a-half-year-old man who hoped that because his age was close to that of  55 he would be able to go to work without a permit. But he was caught by the secret service and spent a week in jail.

Of course, when he was released, he did not get the ID card with the money and the phone. Being a transparent man he was sent home  to his life without the necessary items.

Why consider and make it easier? Who is he anyway?

After a long wait in the prison, the officials decided to to bring us everything, and then we went to see him at his  home and give him his money and phone.

An  old man, poor and  who tried to bring bread to his home and became a criminal against his will.

Each time we do this I feel shame and anger.

I wish that people would be allowed to live as human beings and would not need our help to do so.
