The trials of Job
From time to time when he asks, as he did today, we take Said, a resident of Huwwara, back with us to visit his son.  The child, who was 6 years old when he had a road accident, is hospitalised in a vegetative state in the 'Reut' institution in Yad Eliyahu. Said told tells us that once a month he receives an entrance permit for Israel which is good for a month only.  Then once a month he has to:  produce permits from the medical institution; present them to the DCO at Huwwara and bring their permit to the DCO in Nablus.  All this to visit his son who is in hospital with no hope of recovery.
