Morning

Yesterday at around 10 p.m., the Palestinians sent us videoclips showing soldiers behaving abusively at the checkpoint beside the archaeological park at Tel Rumeida in Hebron.

Today we came to talk and show that there are people who care. At their request, I am not publishing the photos they sent or pictures of the children.

The children are on their winter vacation and are playing on the street. It’s very cold in Hebron. And sad.

The Palestinians told us that they’re tired of repeated checks with the magnetometer at the checkpoint. Every time they come in or go through the checkpoint, they are required to be checked and yesterday, they rebelled. Shouts of the demonstration were heard and equipment to disperse demonstrations was nearly brought in. They think that the turnover of soldiers is disrespectful to the residents of the neighborhood. The soldiers do not know them or recognize them, and this makes them extremely angry.
