Afternoon

14:45- Anin Checkpoint

We arrived early.  We found 5 tractors and about 30 people waiting.  The soldiers arrived on time (15:00) and opened the checkpoint.  Everyone passed through immediately, without inspection and without delays.  People continued to arrive.  We left before the checkpoint closed.

15:20 – Tura-Shaked Checkpoint

The checkpoint was quiet and empty.  The trash bin was full to the brim and trash was scattered around it.

A woman who was holding many packages passed through in the direction of the Seamline Zone. We offered her a ride, but she was waiting for relatives in her family from Umm-al Fahm, who arrived after a few minutes.

15:45 – Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint

On the Seamline Zone side:  At the moment there is a strange quiet; there are almost no people.  After a few minutes, however, many vehicles arrived, among them a bus.  Many workers got off and almost running in the direction of the terminal and on to the West Bank, towards home.  Two Palestinians in orange jumpers, cleaned the bathrooms and the sink next to them.  Someone said that in the building area of Harish, there is a work-related accident and no one is paying any attention to it.  We gave him the telephone number of the Worker Line, to get there a relevant help.

On the Palestinian side:  There are a lot of people and cars in the parking lot.  In the shelter, one man is praying on a red carpet next to the sweets stall and the stall of the Palestinian telephone company, Wataniya.

16:20 – We left for home while in front of us is a long line of cars that brought workers to the checkpoint, almost a traffic jam…
