Afternoon

We returned to our regular shift after an absence of a month and found that nothing whatsoever changed.  Also, we had anticipated that there might be some indications reflecting the protests in Gaza, but nothing was apparent to us.

Anata:  the usual line up of vehicles but cars going through the checkpoint in both directions without impediment.  The only “incident” that we saw was that some blue policemen were questioning some young men, but this was done at a distance from the checkpoint.

Azariah:  the same bustle of traffic, and the continuing deterioration of quality.

Isawiy:  No changes whatsoever.  Unfettered passage to French Hill and to the highway to Maaleh Adumim, but the passage to Mount Scopus remains blocked to vehicles.
