Special solidarity shift of The Negev circle of MachsomWatch and Standing Together in Kafr Qasem

Following the scandalous Trump proposal to transfer the residents of the  the Triangle  with all the citizens to the future Palestinian Authority we organized a delegation to Kafr Qasem village for a demonstration of solidarity.

The meeting included the mayor of Kafr Qasem, Adel Badir, Walid Taha from the Joint List, Amir Kokhavi from Hod Hasharon, the mayor of Kfar Jat, Muhammad 'Asi, head of Kafr Bara Council, Eliel HarsgurMayor of Kfar Saba, Mosi Raz,  Isawi Frej, who is a resident of Kafr Qasem, MK Tamar Zandberg, and others.

It is precisely these days that it is so important to express solidarity with Palestinians on both sides of the Green line. our threenanks to Machsomwatch  for allowing us to take this opportunity.

An emergency conference against the transfer clause in the century deal was held today in Kafr Qasem with participation of representatives of cities from the triangle, and dozens of activists froom Standing Together.

Jadir Hani, a leader of the Standing Together, said: "We will not accept the transfer of those who live here, they are part of this place. We stand here together in protest – there will be more of us as time goes by.  Our efforts will be successful and we will struggle to the end to build a home in Israel for all of us."

Amir Kokhavi, Mayor of Hod Hasharon: "Although this is a populist program designed to produce headlines in the election period, there are things which must be said now.  This is an attempt to cause conflict between communities, we are here to stand together."

Attorney Adel Badir, Mayor of Kafr Qasem: "We will face the  fantasies of Trump and Netanyahu together. Two people who are under criminal investigation  decided from across the sea the fate of the residents of the Triangle and the surrounding area. "We will not allow them to bring Israel and the Palestinians into a conflict."

MK Tamar Zandberg, Meretz: "I am pleased to see  the mayors of the Triangle and the region. I came to stand with them in solidarity. Facing separation and opacity, we will continue to demonstrate that we stand together."

MK Walid Taha, Joint List: "You are standing exactly where the Kafr Qasem massacre happened. But we are not looking for revenge. Whoever made these offers can go where they want to. We will not move from here.

 Ilai Harsgur-Hendin, Deputy Mayor of Kfar Saba: "What's wrong with them is that it bothers them to see us standing together and we have to show them that there is not a chance of  separating us. "
