We met at 14:30 at the west side of the town and used the way to Qalandiya to discuss in general our activity and the prevention of the freedom of movement (the bureaucracy of the occupation). When talking with guests who are completely familiar with the wrongs of the occupation and their significance, it is difficult to find new angles to expand on the subject. It is also difficult to grasp the horror of the early morning hours in the empty checkpoint in the afternoon. While we were there only five persons passed. The endless traffic jams do of course act as witnesses to what goes on in Qalandiya. In the hope that we managed to convey the message – at least we did do our best.
