Beit Iba

No line of cars but there is a dogtrainer. It seems that because of the rain cars are only checked from the outside, Pedestrians at the entrance are not checked. At the exit as usual it is hard to see people taking off their belts and shoes and it is not clear why. The rain streams and flows towards the pedestrians. Nabil, the DCO representative, introduces himself. There is also an apprentice DCO. From him we understand that the checkpoint at Beit Iba will remain but it will only be for cars and pedestrians will not be checked. We hope so.

There are soldiers but as they also tell us they do not stop and check cars.
