Morning

Translation: Ruth F.

8:00- Za'tara Junction
There were no vehicles on either side of the road.

8:15- Beit Furik Checkpoint
The area surrounding the checkpoint was deserted. No one was coming in or out.

8:30- Huwwara Checkpoint
Due to the strike that had been announced on at the west bank, in response to the event at Gaza, there was hardly any traffic at the checkpoint. Few people were entering or exiting.
There were no peddlers at the parking lot: We discovered that the brigade commander ordered the peddler to leave the area; since this wasn't done the BP arrived and did what it knows best.

And Halas! Even the Falafel stand at Huwwara was closed.

10:15 We were on our way home.
