Jubara, Ar-Ras

13:50 – Few cars pass the checkpoint near Jubara. Infrastructure works of pedestrian lanes from the direction of Tulkarm seem to be reaching the final stages. At our request, two soldiers open the gate to Jubara for us right away. The same two soldiers come to open the gate for us on our way back.

Blooming squills adorn the roadsides. At gate 753 three soldiers check the documents of passengers of a car on its way to the village. A woman pedestrian's documents are checked too. At Ar-Ras checkpoint, the few cars that come from the direction of Tulkarm are checked quickly by the soldiers at the southern checkpoint.

Anabta

16:45 – Both posts are manned by the soldiers. In either direction the traffic of cars is thin.
