Afternoon
General conditions; heat  36 degrees when we met at 14 pm. First days of Ramadan
We took my car because of it's better  air condition.

Sheikh Saed

We  arrived at 14:20. The checkpoint was sleepy in the heat. Only two women, coming from Jerusalem, went without much control through the checkpoint. From Sheikh Saed came two young men

and were passing without any hesitatiion.

Olive Crossing

Also this checkpoint, where we  arrived at 15:10, was in the heat almost empty. Two women, coming from El Azaria were passing in 7 minutes. Another one with a babyinfo-icon and three more children on her way to El Azaria  made it in 4 minutes.

Wadi Nar

We were arrived at 15:40.  Palestinian busses and Sheruts , mostly  coming from the Ramallah side unloaded   groups of 20 to 30 young men, evidently coming from work  They were running to the  busses and Sheruts to Bethlehem and Hebron which were waiting on the other side of the street. From those groups we were observing nobody was checked.

There were three soldiers on duty. One asked us to observe from far away, but when I silently was walking around for an overlook of the traffic situation he let me go. A truck driver's ID, the IDs of two private persons in a Palestinian car and one truck got checked while we were there.

We left at 16:10 .
