There were few cars northbound, but
southbound there was a long queue. There was a continuous but
moving queue of people. The new metal-detecting gate is not
activated, even though people must pass through it. The soldiers
were cooperative. A., the commander, continues to be efficient,
decent, helpful and humane. We heard a number of shots, but coudn't
determine their origin.
