Border policemen were standing next to
the gas station, checking IDs, which were returned within minutes.
No military presence at the gate.

Wadi Nar: A few bored border policemen waved cars through. Taxis
with permits could cross from Bethlehem to Abu-Dis. There was no
queue of either cars or pedestrians. All together, the atmosphere
was relaxed.
