Tarqumiya

Tarqumiya, Sunday 13.2.05, AMWatchers: Achinoam M. and Mor A.We arrived at the CP at 5:40. There was a long line of about 80 Palestinians waiting there. The soldier that was checking the men was passing them through one by one, but efficiently. When it got lighter, he began to pass them through in groups of three or four. Among the men was a woman with a work permit. We estimated that about 300 people passed through up until the time we left the CP at 6:45. The soldier passing the workers through (A') was polite and to the point.The CP commander insisted that we only stand in the area we were supposed to stand - next to the blocks or completely outside the CP.
