(reporting)Guests: Chibi, Sarah G.14:30 -16:00Both of the checkpoints were almost empty, the rate of passage was swift, no special incidents. At the northern checkpoint, about 30 people were waiting to be inspected, at the southern the passage was accomplished without use of the turnstiles.A lot of preparation for the elections, which will be held on Sunday – posters, stickers, and signs with Abu Mazen's portrait next to Arafat everywhere. According to the residents, Abu Mazen entered Nablus this morning through this checkpoint and the excitement ran high – maybe he will come out soon. Up until the time we left, neither Abu Mazen nor any other candidate passed through the checkpoint.
