Anata, Ar-Ram, Qalandiya, Thursday, 27/1/2005, AMObservers: Ruth E., Aviva W., Rama Y. (reporting)Anata. When we arrived, at around 06:30, there werevery few cars, but soon afterwards, the usual jambuilt up, in spite of the two lanes line, and waitingtime was about 10-15 minutes. Ar-Ram. Very few pedestrians, very few cars. Qalandiya. People kept asking us about the changes tobe made in the CP, but we had very little information. But this is what the occupation is about - decisionsare made somewhere by some anonymous forces, whilethose who are to be most affected have no control, noteven knowledge about what is to be. A boy, who claimedto be 13 years old, was refused passage, because hedidn't have his birth certificate with him. He wasaccompanied by his younger brother, and they were ontheir way back home in Sho'afat. We asked a soldierwhether something was done about it, but were ignored. We called Z. from Jerusalem Envelope, and he was mosthelpful. Within few minutes, a soldier released the two.
