Jubara, Tuesday AM, 18.1.05Observers: Ruthie C., Maya M., Elinoar (reporting)06:45-09:45At 06:45 there is a group of permit-carrying, inadequately dressed agricultural workers waiting in the heavy rain at a considerable distance from the entrance barrier to Jubara. They have been waiting a long time. The line hardly moves, the soldiers are busy, mostly chasing away children who try to enter Jubara with sacks of herbs or similarly petty merchandise. The soldiers claim there is a "hot alert". Presently they speed it up, we leave for Beit Iba. On our way back, a little before ten, thing seem to move reasonably quickly.
