The soldiers were relaxed and welcoming. They told us about an ugly incident yesterday between young settlers and Machsomwatch observers. The settlers were verbally abusive and the soldiers tried to drive them away and finally succeeded. A young soldier came over to us, said he himself is a settler and is ashamed of their disgraceful behavior.
