Wewere told that just a few minutes before our arrival,the soldiers had allowed cars to proceed at all - forsome reason the road had been blocked altogether.Hundreds of people and school children were waitingfor buses and vans stuck in the jam. There is a lot ofanger in Anata, and people complain that they have towait every morning more than an hour on the vehicleline.Ar-Ram. An uneventful morning. There are a few peopleand a few cars, and the checking is cursory.Qalandiya. Pedestrians go through with no hindrance.There is, though, a traffic jam on the way north. Andwe witnessed yet another brilliant victory of IsraeliDefense Forces over the bagel vendors at the southernentrance to the CP.
