There was very active pedestrian movement. No checking of people going north, but extensive checking of ID's of people going south. A volunteer and young soldiers behaved as they usually do. Tora Bora was active. Cars waited for about 2 hours to go north. A tall Russian soldier and another short and extremely unpleasant one were purposely impeding smooth passage. A big truck with cloth and shoes was ordered to unload completely but after a while was allowed to pass.
