Heavy rain and lots of mud. When we arrived we observed a B.P.Jeep no. 22565 next to a bus talking to the driver and some more men. The soldiers don't even get out of the jeep. They were writing the complaint. We talked to the owner of the bus company, H. Z., his buses go to Sawahre with students and back to Jerusalem. His company has been working for many years. Now, the buses are prevented from going all the way and the drivers are asked to check the passengers, as we know. He says that an investigator from the Mount Olive police told him that this action is not legal. Last week we saw a big stone blocking the road uphill, next to the university. When we asked the B.P. about it, they assured us that it was a mistake and the stone just "fell off" the bulldozer. Well, the stone is still there, a bit moved aside but as we were told by the people, occasionally blocks the way.Today they did not bother to get out of the jeep and did not stop the flow of people who climbed the impossible pass over the fence (which they broke in order to lower it) and through the field.
