15:00 Tura-Shaked checkpoint

Very few cross over, among them Daher el Malec village leader who had returned from Jenin. Our driver , Hurri, helps Clair to find out with him how things are moving towards connecting the village to electricity .

15:20 Barta'a – Rihan checkpoint

Following a short clarification we were permitted to walk )מה זה 'מעבר רכוב'(  down in the direction of the Palestinian car park but with the stipulation that we go straight and do not stop on the way.

The car park is completely full. Alli tells us that the rain had poured non-stop from 12 midnight  until 9:00 am and many workers did not get out to work. We met Haddi' the former owner of the kiosk as well as a few permit seeker  who asked for our assistance. On the road, next to the line of trucks that are awaiting inspection tomorrow, stood a modern Police Jeep that seemed ambushing rebellious drivers.

At 16:00  Many workers had showed up. A security person instructed us not to stay on the road.
