Afternoon

We were initially somewhat apprehensive about going out because of the increased military and police activity in search of the missing Yeshivah students.  However, we were quite surprised to find that, in the areas we visited in any case, life seemed to be proceeding pretty much as usual.  School children passed through the checkpoint at Anata as usual, buses awaited their arrival, and vehicular traffic was unchanged.  The same was the case in both Ezariya and Wadi Nar.  There was a bit less traffic  than usual at the Wadi Nar crossing, but nothing out of the ordinary.  The same was true of the checkpoint between Maaleh Adumim and Jerusalem .

A very quiet and uneventful shift.
