Bethlehem Checkpoint

2 working stations are open. Most of the time there are no lines. At a certain point many people arrive and the line grows longer, mainly due to the slowness of the checking. Following our intervention another working station is opened.

No children today and only one case in which a man could not pass due to a faulty permit.

Again only few arrive.

An ecumenical volunteer tells us there is hardly anyone on the Bethlehem side. No officers or police are present, either. Two security men are sitting upstairs still and not budging.
