Qalandiya, Mon 18.6.12, Afternoon

When we reached Qalandiya CP today, it really was deserted.  A local kid who accompanied us into the CP told us it was a "yom fadi" – an "empty" day.  We wandered all over the CP because many of the gates were unlocked, even the post office and the administrative offices, and exited at the end into the CP's northern parking lot.  We sat and chatted in the northern shed with the passersby, but there was really not much to report.
