Qalandiya, Wed 2.5.12, Afternoon
We approached the southern roundabout, and saw heavy trucks coming from highway 443 and vehicles coming from Jerusalem, causing traffic jams
Passage from north to south: a loudspeaker shrieking in Hebrew: "remove shoes, belts", people arguing, and in the background the hissing of the detector, all combined in a no-respect attitude. A slow, nerve-racking passage.
Our guest inquired: "A terminal with no toilets? What do people do then?"
