Morning

We arrived in Qalandia at 06:15.  The pedestrian crossing was busy but moving along, unlike the vehicular crossing which was slow.  An additional lane would certainly be useful, especially during the busy morning hours.

We arrived at Anata at 07:15.  The new facility was impressive. Unfortunately, it lacked adequate accommodations for the handicapped.  We would like to point out that many young boys missed the school bus which could become problematic if ignored.

We were told that  drugs remain  a major problem. It appears that  Anata is a known central point for drugs going into Jerusalem.   The Palestinian Authority Police are not permitted to go in to deal with the issue which seems to be ignored by the Israeli police.
