Bethlehem (300), Tue 6.3.12, Morning

Bethlehem - Checkpoint 399,  6:45:  four CPs (checking points) open.  Not a good morning since people are just dribbling through constantly but slowly. I meet Hannah, an Ecumenical Accompanist who has been present since 4:00 am. Her partner at the entrance informs us that one metal detector is not working.The humanitarian line is open. But many people are waiting to cross. Not until 8:00 am has everyone passed. Two people wished to contact Sylvia. Her phone number was given to them.
