Bethlehem (300), Tue 7.2.12, Morning

Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300 (Rachel crossing):  we arrived early but there were still many vehicles outside.  It didn’t take long before the people on line inside had been taken care of and they came out, satisfied, to begin their day of work.

Again we saw a group of people lined up against the wall.  We wondered about them, until we remembered that they are employed in the commercial sector and are scheduled to cross only at seven.  We were still wondering when we began to hear a chorus of voices from different places calling “seven, seven, seven”…it’s good they have a sense of humor.

People are now south of the checkpoint on their way to work; we’re on our way home.
