Bethlehem, Fri 21.1.11, Morning

Bethlehem– Checkpoint 300:  two inspection stations were open. Most of the time during my shift there wasn’t a long queue, and during the whole time no Palestinian was prevented from entering. There were few children today.

The soldiers were placid.

Also, no shouts were heard or noises of crowding on the Palestinian side.

Only a few people were asking to cross from Jerusalem to Bethlehem.
