Etzion DCL: five young men complainedthat they had been summoned to a meeting with the GSS at 08.00. They arrived on time, passed over theirID’s, and since then they had been waiting, and no-one had spoken to them. We asked Danny to remind the GSS that theyoung men had been waiting since the morning. We reminded them once more. Wedrove to Beit Omer, and when we returned at nearly 16.00 , the five cametowards us and told us happily that whenthay were admitted to the GSS office,their ID’s were returned to them and they were sent home. Apparently the GSS, who we had recentlythought had ceased to summon people and have them wait there from morning tonight,have not changed this worthless habit.
16.00 pm, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: a mass of workers waswaiting in front of the entrance. Asecurity guard let them in - in groups. He did his job quietly and in a commendable manner. Passage through the checkpoint was fast.
