Morning

I could just adopt  the report Ruthi  R.  wrote yesterday, Sun,  Jan  24.
The same lines  of  workers  that  went through the iron bars, fewer people because of the rain  that keeps  construction workers away.
Suddenly the line was stopped around 6:30 for no obvious reason,  and after we called the DCO  a few times started moving again,  dew to our call or not.
A blind man was let through the humaniterien gate, but no one else  and our request to let the small children through was  turned down in a particularily rude way by the russien policman  now also on duty.

I also agree with Ruthi that the attitude of the entire staff to any request on our part  for some humane decent treatment of people in great need   gets the rudest , nastiest and   most uncivilized response, which really indicates their feelings towards our being there.
It is hard to watch the lack of compassion  demonstrated at Qalandia, despite the fact that it has become  the norm.  We  live with it, the Palestinien live with it and we all hate it.
