Morning

On the morning of July 1st, 2024, 150 workers from the Palestinian Authority crossed into Israel at the Meitar checkpoint. All 150 workers were given a special permit.

We counted about 50 vehicles in the parking lot of the checkpoint.

We met Musa at the ACA checkpoint. Musa tells us about a fingerprint check that every Palestinian must take when passing the turnstile at the checkpoint on the way back to his home. All this is done to check if the number of workers entering Israel is equal to the number leaving it.

In Zanuta there is a military van and a military jeep on the right side.

In Khursa an abandoned army checkpoint. Tawfiq informs us that the checkpoint was closed on Saturday because the settlers do not use it on Saturday.

Rania from Fuqiqis (Route 3265) requests that we should come to the village, (we did not receive permission to go through Negohot and reach them).

Rania says that life has become unbearable. Every day the settler brings his 12 cows and herd of sheep to the areas surrounding their place of residence, and her family is forced to chase them away every day.

Villagers, children, women, the elderly and children pass through all the intersections on foot, since all the crossings/entrances on Route 60 are closed and have been closed since October 7.
