השלט על כביש 446 בדרך למעין כתוב עברית ואנגלית ועליו סמליל של לשכת התיירות הישראלית. אין כיתוב בשפה הערבית. The sign on Route 446 on the way to the spring is written in Hebrew and English with a symbol of the Israeli Tourist Bureau. There is no writing in Arabic.

A swearing reserve soldier greeted us in a non-existing checkpoint. It was declared by the IDF that this checkpoint has been closed.

The CP commander who came toward us to find out who we are told us to watch out because there are alerts regarding an attacker and that's why they are ready with the webbing equipment.

The attacker did not show up but the blue police did. On the road heading down from the checkpoint they open a checkpoint, and they stopped Palestinian vehicles to check their papers and performed a physical inspection on the drivers. When we ask with puzzlement about this inspection they explained that it was a routine activity. We had never witnessed such a routine.
