Horses are beeing detained too at the agricultural gate. We called the humanitarian office and the Tulkarm DCO. Tedesa explains that animals can go through only at the Eliyahu crossing because they need the type of permits required at an international border crossing.

We arrived at 15:45 and we saw the about 15 people and a five year old boy trying to climb the gate and shouting "we are hungry, we are tired, open the gate, we want to get home". The people said they are from Azzun 'Atma. Their houses are outside the fence and they have authorization to cross the gate but each time they have to buy milk they enter the village after presenting the authorization and depositing their IDs, but this time they left early in the morning to pick their olive trees which are inside the village. They finished their work and arrived at the gate at 13:00 to return home, the soldiers didn't enable them to pass and when they asked why? The answer was that the soldiers lost military binoculars and they were sure that one of them found it and that they won't return to their homes until the binoculars are returned.

Three bags of second-hand clothing were left by someone. Residents of Habla aren’t allowed to bring them into the village. Only agricultural produce may enter through this gate. Second-hand clothing endangers Israel’s security!

A group of Israelis tour in the West Bank, guided by MachsomWatch members. The residents of Elqana settlement did not want a wall in front of their street, so the wall was erected between a Palestinian house and the rest of his village and was surrounded with a fence.

On Monday Dec. 5.2012 at 07:00 fifty soldiers arrived at the village on jeeps and two tractors which immediately began the destruction work of two "houses". A warning had been given a week before, but on Monday morning the inhabitants were removed from their houses and were not given the chance of taking out the houses' contents. In one house lived a couple and seven children and in the other a couple and ten children. Furniture, clothes, toys, electrical appliances, textbooks etc. – turned into a rubbish heap. The army claim was that the houses were built too close to the road leading to Alfe Menashe.
