We arrived at 15:45 and we saw the about 15 people and a five year old boy trying to climb the gate and shouting "we are hungry, we are tired, open the gate, we want to get home". The people said they are from Azzun 'Atma. Their houses are outside the fence and they have authorization to cross the gate but each time they have to buy milk they enter the village after presenting the authorization and depositing their IDs, but this time they left early in the morning to pick their olive trees which are inside the village. They finished their work and arrived at the gate at 13:00 to return home, the soldiers didn't enable them to pass and when they asked why? The answer was that the soldiers lost military binoculars and they were sure that one of them found it and that they won't return to their homes until the binoculars are returned.

Al Malih (route 5799) - a long line of waiting cars. At the roadside a kind of temporary camp is seen, dozens of tractors' platforms loaded with blankets, pots, clothes, etc. All the inhabitants of the village which received an order yesterday to leave their homes between 4 PM until 2:30 PM the next day. Thousands were forced to spend the freezing night out in the open (it gets extremely cold at night in this Jordan Valley area, as it does in desert climate), sleeping on platforms or the backs of trucks when all that protects them from the night cold is a miserable nylon sheet.

For 25 years a family from the village of Haris had saved to build a home. It took them three years to construct a building containing two apartments. After they’d received a demolition order they contacted an attorney’s office in Ramallah to appeal. While they waited for the court hearing that was supposed to take place that morning the bulldozers arrived without warning.

The IDF decided to bring water to At Tuwani, while they were digging they discovered among the village houses archaeological remains from the Roman and Byzantine periods (what Israeli locality doesn’t sit on an archaeological site?). Now they can't put the water pipe and the site turned to be a tourist site for Israelis without water.

We met with the head of the Ramin local council and residents of the village to check on the progress of paving the access road to the village from the main road #557. At present, in order to reach the village one must drive via Anabta to Tulkarm, take the road to Jenin and at the top of the hill there’s a lovely road winding toward the village. The route is lovely but dangerous, particularly when traffic is heavy.
