The renovated neighborhood opposite the Cave of the Patriarchs, around which the a 9 meters wall is rising on behalf of the prayers' road. The renovations were carried out by Spanish organizations. But this is area H2, which the Palestinian Authority doesn’t take care of and which the IDF Civil Authority is, of course, neglecting. The stench of urine, garbage tossed everywhere and a feeling of no man’s land surrounding us.

Buses carrying Moslem tourists from India. But they’re not allowed to ascend the stairs to the plaza. They walk around to the Moslem half of the sidewalk divided along its entire length. They enter the tomb of the Patriarch Abraham through the Moslem entrance. Later they’ll return by the same route, descend broken stairs that only they can use, go back to the buses to continue their journey through the Holy Land.
