13:30  Habla
The checkpoint is empty and the gate is locked at that hour. We only went to see if all was as usual.
14:00  Qalqilya
The line was not long going into the city; about 4 cars. The line of cars going out of the city seemed longer from where we stood; about 9 cars were in line. Both lines were moving smoothly; there didn't seem to be any problem. One Israeli van going into the city was turned back by the commander for lack of a permit.

14:45 Shavei Shomron
Cement dividers have been set up to separate the lanes of traffic in the road at the checkpoint. The road is rather narrow, the dividers take up space, and the checkpoint is placed so that the drivers coming from the north have to "slalom" in order to continue on their way. We watched two huge trucks going through, having to do very difficult manuevers to avoid hittiing the checkpoint on one side or the eight-foot wall on the other side. Of course, all other traffic had to wait for these trucks. Another harrasment?

16:10 Anabta
The checkpoint was literally empty.

16:30  A-Ras
We saw one car going in the direction of Tulkarem, and another car coming from there. That was all.

16:40  Jubarra
The checkpoint was empty; there were no lines of cars.
