14:30 – 16:00

14:30 – Barta’a-Reihan Checkpoint

At this time, people go home from work. On our way to the lower parking lot, we see the seamstresses go down the sleeveinfo-icon (the enclosed path to the terminal) and when we finely arrive at the lower parking lot, they go into the taxi and wave hello to us on their way home. There are many drivers standing in the parking lot, chatting and waiting for the workers who will come.

We traveled in the direction of Amricha, to Fatma’s grocery store, to deliver clothes and games.  The bag of toys was opened immediately and the children hurried to play on the floor.

15:20 – Anin Checkpoint

The checkpoint is open and it looks like most of the people already passed through.  Four more workers arrive and after that, two women and a babyinfo-icon.  It appeared that this was the first time that they passed through the Anin checkpoint.

The season for harvesting olives is over and from today, the checkpoint again will be open only on Mondays and Wednesdays, and not every day.  It isn’t yet known what hours it will be open.

15:40 – Tura-Shaked Checkpoint

Very few people return from work to the West Bank.  A car is waiting for those returning from Jenin. This checkpoint is abundant with buildings and with electrical improvements and only a few have the right to cross here.

On the way home, we see many construction workers returning home via Barta’a checkpoint.
