Irtah (Sha'ar Efrayim)
The gates opened a few minutes before 4:00.
People we picked to watch for got through the checkpoint at first in three minutes, later seven or eight minutes.
We got the impression that the process was less pressured than it had been, though the number of people who came through seemed no smaller than in the past, judging from the crowds in the prayer area and waiting for transportation.
No one made any complaints to us.
It appears that someone is listening and trying to improve service.
