Wadi Nar 15:00

There are six minivans standing and waiting. One taxi with women and children inside stands aside. Two women approach us and tell us the well known story: They study in Beit Lehem and they are detained, and they still have a long way to Ramalla.

We approached the soldier. The soldier said he will find out what the trouble is. Two minutes later he returned and explained that they are checking the documents of the driver. A short talk with A. who has suggested that first of all the girls will take a car and drive home, and he promised to check up later on.

A quarter of an hour later A. came himself in order to see what happens at the checkpoint. In the meanwhile the women and the cab are released and we all depart in thanks and Shalem.

The cars are being checked pretty quickly, and many workers go through quickly. After we ask if it is possible to quicken things up.

Anata 16:00

Very few cars come and go. the place is very quiet.

  Children return from school.

17:00 We are worn out by the traffic jams of Jerusalem.
