Checking cars towards the north is not strict, also two soldiers
checking i.d

of pedestrians sporadically.

Lots of people around 100 to 200,& the line does not become
shorter because more & more are coming. The checking done by
old volunteers but there are at least 2 commander running the
c.p

A Swiss journalist with a Palestinian crew are filming inside the
c.p ,later on the soldiers asked them to leave.

Most people let through but still the atmosphere is tensed as
people hurry home to break the fast.

A soldier, name Yair with a kippa, help people ,let some go, &
others manage to do it their 'own way". He told us that
personally he will let everybody pass.

Young man came to look after his i.d that was taken 2 days ago, the
commander

said it is in the base & will take an hour to bring it we did
not follow as he left.

At 16.30 less people ,the c.p almost empty, but on the south side a
real chaos

with cars all direction ,mainly north. All cars go through even
some big trucks.

Three drivers, blue i.d drove by mistake or not, on the military
zone, coming from Jabba .

Again a jeep took their i.d as educational
punishment.

Before we leave at 17.30 when the c.p is really almost empty they
got the i.d back.

On our way to Neve Yakov at the junction at around 18/00 a b.p jeep
just stop & start to check cars going north ,using a flashlight
to look inside the cars.

Where are the HAKALOT?!
