 Tulkarm

The thin traffic at the checkpoint is probably due to the universities vacation in Nablus.

The main entrance to Azzun from road 55 is blocked by concrete cubes. The western entrance (next to the parking facility) is open. At the entrance to the village of Laqif and on the way between Funduq and the village of Hajja, the passage is free.

Irtah passage (Efrayim Gate)

07:00 – A lot of workers are waiting for transportation. Two buses are waiting for the prisoner's families. Talking to some workers, we understand that there are no complains. Waiting time is 20 – 30 minutes. Only one security corridor operates today. On Sunday, because of the pressure, three security corridors were in operation.

Ar-Ras checkpoint (Farm 8)

07:15 – Reservists, a dog-trainer and a dog are at the checkpoint. There are scarcely any vehicles.

Anabta (Einav)

07:45 – Here, too, there are reservists. The lines on both sides are short (3 – 4 cars). They pass quickly.

The road from Funduq to Hajja
(On the way back from Beit Iba)

10:00 – At a distance of about 150 meters from the main road, there are earth ramparts on the road but on one side the barrier has been removed and cars can pass (one at a time) from one side to the other.

The entrance to the village of Laqif

Here, too, there were rocks and an earth rampart that blocked the entrance to the village. Also here the barrier has been partly removed and cars can pass.

Azzun

The main entrance from the road 55 – the eastern one – i9s blocked by a line of concrete cubes and cars are parked on both sides of the barrier. The western entrance is open, but the inner road that leads to the village (parallel to road 55) is blocked by earth ramparts and in order to enter Azun it is necessary to make a detour via Izbat Tabib.

Qalqiliya checkpoint

10:15 – Not many cars are waiting. Palestinian cars pass quickly. Cars with Israeli licence plates are detained and the number is checked in a notebook to see if the vehicle has a permission to enter the city.
