6:45-Aram: regular lines of cars, regular lines pedestrians. General flow was fast. the soldiers seemed to let almost everyone cross. 7:30- Kalandia South - Lots of pedestrians going through the checkpoint . most of the people were allowed to cross. 7:45 Kalandia North - Lots of pedestrians going through the checkpoint . most of the people were allowed to cross. No long lines ,quite clean. Tora Bora: very busy. We were told by the local pedestrians that about 20 soldiers are spread along the ‘wadi’ looking for people trying to cross. we saw a group of 7 palestinians sitting on their knees with their hands behind their backs while two soldiers are yelling at them to keep their heads down while pointing a gun towards them. The soldiers were also hitting&kicking one of them in his back and pushing two others heads down ruffly. From the begining one of us photographed this situation and we all yelled at the soldiers to stop using force. than two other soldiers approached us telling us to move away and stop shooting. We talked to them for a while, usless, sort of expected conversation that ended with the soldiers living them alone there. Than they came to talk to us, and seemed happy that we were there. The soldiers took their I-d’s and we gave them phone numbers for ‘mikrei heiroom’ . afterwards we talked to few more people and went away at around 9:00.
