Beit Ummar, Etzion DCL, Tue 31.1.12, Afternoon

15:00 pm, Etzion DCL:   ironically, on a day when there were no clients at all, a soldier was present at the window!  She told us that a number of people had come in the morning.

We decided to drive south.

Beit Ummar:   at the entrance to Beit Ummar there  was an army vehicle and a few soldiers standing next to it.

Between Beit Ummar and Nabi  Yunis stood an army vehicle and police car facing north.  A longish line of traffic formed behind them – but this had disappeared when we returned from Nabi Yunis.
